1. water a potted geranium and a cactus
2. place a plastic bag around each of their pots
3. stand them on plates
4. cut the bases off two large plastic bottles
5. smear petroleum jelly on the bottom of each one, and put them over the plants
After 3 days, you should see water droplets in the bottles. Which one gives off more water?
