1. draw a big oval body. Add two stumpy legs.
2. add a long trunk and a short tail. cut him out.
3. cut out a big ear, a curvy tusk and toes.
4. glue down the front edge of the ear. Then glue on the tusk and toes. Use scraps of paper and sequins to decorate.

Second Term, Week 15: Jan 5-9

Begin pairs and sets: counting 4 sets of 2 mice, 2 sets of six cats, 2 sets of 2 sheep, 1 set of 2 dogs etc. . .

Experiment: Recycling
1. collect used paper like newspaper
2. tear into small pieces
3. soak in water at least 2 hours (the longer, the better).
4. fill a blender half way with water and add a handful of the soggy paper
5. blend until you have a thick soup mixture
6. fill a baking tray half way with water and add some of the pulpy mixture
7. submerge a screen and make sure the mixture evenly covers the top of it
8. lift and let water drain
9. blot extra water with paper towel and gently remove screen
10. press to expel extra water
11. allow paper to dry 24 hours

1. make a row of prints with the front of your fist.
2. turn your paper. Paint the neck and head.
3. give him two legs and feet. Add a twisty tail.
4. for wings, add two overlapping handprints.
5. dot on white eyes and teeth . Let dry.
6. use a pen to finish the face and add claws.
